Eggnog cookies edit
Fun and easy holiday cookies
Ingredient
- 375g flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 142g butter
- 100g dark brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 161g of molasses
- 2-3 tbs of maple syrup
- 350 g of white chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup of eggnog
Instructions
- Whisk flour, baking soda, and spices
- In a seperate bowl cream the butter and brown sugar
- Mix molasses, maple syrup, and egg into the butter mixture
- Gradually add in flour to the wet mixture
- Chill resulting cookie dough for an hour
- Preheat the ovn to 350 F
- Roll dough into balls and press down the top with the back of a spoon to create a small divot (this will be filled with eggnog chocolate later)
- Bake cookies for 6-8 minutes
- While the cookies are cooling, press down on divot with a spoon again, but make sure not to break through the bottom of the cookie
- Make eggnog chocolate mix by microwaving eggnogg and white chocolate chips, stirring until smooth
- Spoon chocolate into the divot on the cookies, top with some ground nutmeg and cinnamon

Recipie taken and slightly adapted from twocupsofflour.com. Extra delicious with freshly ground spices. Could also be good if edited using Quinn’s ginger molasses recipe as a base and topped with the eggnog chocolate.
