Kimchi pancakes edit
Makes 6-7 pancakes. Easy.
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup of flour
- 1 tbs of soy sauce
- 1 tbs of kimchi brine/juice
- 1 and 1/2 cups of kimchi
- 1/4 cup of water
- 2 chopped scallions
- neutral oil
- optional toppings: chopped scallions, kewpie mayo, sesame seeds
Instructions
- Mix egg, soy sauce, kimchi brine, and water into a bowl
- Add and mix in flour
- Chop kimchi and scallions, mix into the bowl
- Form pancakes and fry on a hot oiled pan
Notes
Make the pancackes as thin as possible- the crispier, the better. Slightly adapted Bon Appetit Kimchi pancakes recipie. The use of kewpie mayo is untraditional but delicious!
